but Noosa remains unique. World-famous for its pristine beaches,
waterways, rainforests and the most visited national
park in the whole of Australia. A great place for all

of golf, or lunching by the river. The Noosa area has something
for everyone.
The
Noosa Shire covers 875 km², with 35% dedicated to national
parks or other parkland, providing havens for native plant
species, birds and wildlife. Noosa is also within easy reach
of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and The Great
Barrier Reef.
climate:
perfect summers – cooled by the prevailing sea breezes
and magnificent winters - mild nights with warm, sunny days.

facilities:

Noosa has all the services and amenities that you would normally
find in a city … internationally-acclaimed restaurants;
great shopping; outstanding golf courses and other sporting/social
clubs; an array of live entertainment – musicians &
theatre productions; state-of-the-art community facilities
– aquatic centre, library, a sporting & leisure
complex; a modern hospital with local and visiting specialists;
a range of alternative therapists; a choice of state/private
schools, a TAFE college … and much more.
planning: to
preserve Noosa’s environment and relaxed lifestyle,
Noosa Council has resisted major development. There are no
high-rise buildings, no heavy industry or pollution, no traffic
jams and only two sets of traffic lights in the whole area.
Noosa Shire has a current population of 48,000 - but through
its landmark Strategic Plan, the future population
has been ‘capped’ at around 60,000 residents.
the
market: Noosa is a great place to live, so
it’s no wonder that real estate prices have increased
substantially over the years.
It’s
true … Noosa now has some of the most expensive real
estate in Australia, but affordable properties are still available
in both the coastal and hinterland regions.
Come and enjoy the beauty of Noosa.
